Thank you for applying to be a volunteer, your form has been submitted successfully!

Here is what happens next!

1- You will receive an acceptance or a decline email (sent to the email you used in your application.) *Note: If you’re worried about buying a ticket vs getting accepted to volunteer – please air on the side of being accepted to volunteer and WAIT to buy your ticket until hearing from us. A ticket is not the same as a volunteer deposit.

2- In your acceptance email, you will be asked to submit a $160 deposit via PayPal within 15 days. (This is to hold people accountable for showing up to their shift. After you complete your shift(s) you will get this refunded within 10 days after the festival, via PayPal less an $8 transaction fee.)

3- After your deposit is received, within a few days you will receive an email assigning you to a volunteer shift for Shangri-La.

4- A few weeks before the festival, you will receive an “Aloha” email containing information about when you are able to arrive to the festival, what to do when you get there, and a little bit more info about your shift.

**Please note: This is an application only and does not guarantee you a volunteer slot. We will do what we can to accommodate date and time preferences and to give you the shift you request, but you will be placed in the position where we can utilize your help the most. Everything is done via email, so please make sure you are keeping a look out for them every step of the way. We receive many applications and we will try to get to yours in a timely fashion. (If it has been more than 2 weeks after one of the steps 1, 2, or 3 has been complete and you haven’t heard from us, please feel free to reach out to volunteers@wookiefoot.com) Thank you in advance for your patience!
